Manufacturers Will Tender Women Presidents a Luncheon

What San Antonio Produces in Food Will Be Served Tuesday Noon to Heads of Various Woman’s Organizations—Several to Talk on Important Subjects.

The food-producer factories of the Manufacturers’ Club will tender a luncheon to the fifty-six presidents of the fifty-six women’s clubs of San Antonio Tuesday, February 15, at 12:20 midday.

Arrangements have been made for this entertainment with the assistance of the Made-in-San Antonio committee of the City Federation of Women’s Clubs, which consists of Mrs. James M. Young, chairman; Mrs. Leo Catton and Mrs. B. F. Morris.

The affair, which in many ways will be novel, is expected to be one of the most memorable of its kind ever held in the South.

Practically every president has signified her intention of being present.

Among the speakers will be Mrs. J. T. Smith, president of the City Federation and president of the Woman’s Parliament; subject, “Co-operation.” Mrs. A. H. Cadwallader, chairman of the civic committee of the Federation and president of the Prospect Hill Civic Club; subject, “Work of the Civic Department in Connection With Made-in-San Antonio Movement.” [Additional speakers and subjects named in the clip include Mrs. Eli Herzberg, George Peyton, Mrs. J. R. Sprague, Hugh B. Rice, and Mrs. James M. Young on household economy and local goods.]

The menu includes local brands and dishes; under coffee:

H. and H. coffee

The committee of the Manufacturers’ Club having charge of preliminary arrangements includes [among others] W. E. Hayman, [with additional names as printed in the clipping].
