H and H Blend — Light Housekeepers Half-Pound Tin (Feb 2017)

A rectangular H and H Blend Coffee tin in the half-pound net, Light Housekeepers Size lithograph — navy top and bottom rails (LIGHT HOUSEKEEPERS SIZE above, MEDIUM GROUND below), HALF POUND NET on the vertical margins, and the red center field with the large white H monogram stack, AND / BLEND between the stems, and COFFEE across the foot. The oval lid is gone and rust follows the rolled rim, but the enamel still reads clearly. We picked this one up from San Antonio on eBay in late February 2017; it belongs to the same Light Housekeepers half-pound line as the specimen already written up in the March 2017 post (a neighbor acquisition a few days later).
