H and H Spices Cumin, 1 Ounce
A one-ounce H&H Spices cumin packet that turned up in McAllen, TX. Another small addition to the H and H Spices line, alongside the nutmeg tin and pepper can already in the collection. The tin carries the same shared H and H Spices label the nutmeg and black pepper examples use — dark blue ground with a red “H AND H / BRAND / SPICES” panel at the top, a pale blue “CUMIN / One Ounce Net” banner in the middle, and a red “Packed for Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Co. / San Antonio, Texas” block at the bottom, framed in thin gold and green borders. Rim rust at the top and bottom, but the paper label is otherwise intact and fully legible. The “Packed For” line is the same wording that runs across the other H and H Spices tins — the running open question the collection keeps circling is whether the spice line was produced in the factory itself or co-packed elsewhere and labeled for H and H.
