Harry Hertzberg

Senator Harry Hertzberg was the San Antonio state senator who — with Gustav P. Menger — advised the 1912 incorporation that merged Mrs. (Minnie Menger) Hoffmann’s interest with W. E. Hayman’s Merchants Coffee Company to form the Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Company. His counsel is the documented legal-advisory link in the company’s founding.

Hertzberg is also remembered for the Hertzberg Circus Collection, much of which is now held by the Witte Museum.
