1919 Kenilworth

1919 Kenilworth (Boulevard), San Antonio, was the home of Gustav P. Menger, long-serving president of the Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Company. Per Gus Menger’s Great Oaks from Little Acorns Grow, the minute books of the Coffee Company (kept since 1912) and the Warehouse Company (since 1933) were preserved in a fireproof vault at this address — a standing lead for a surviving cache of primary H&H corporate records. Adele Menger was still resident at 1919 Kenilworth Blvd. at the time of the 1974 G. P. Menger obituary (HH-CLIP-1974-0002).
