500 Visitors Expected for Bowlers’ Day
… The opening gun in the event will be the parade through the downtown streets at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon. The committee-in-charge hopes to have at least 250 floats and automobiles in the procession, together with a number of bands. Floats have been entered by the American Printers, Dr. Pepper, Modern Radio, Pioneer Flour, Finch Service Station, Champ Beer, Southern Select Beer, Studer Photo, Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee company, National Shirts, Plaza hotel, Winerich Motor Sales, Handy-Andy Grocers, George Mueller Motors, Richter’s Bakery, Pete Bakery, Alamo Billiard Supply, Normayle Service club, Turner’s, All-State Tires, O.
