Holiday display ad from the San Antonio Light of Friday, 23 December 1932 introducing the new 3-lb. H and H Crystalvac Handy Glass Jar. The headline pairs a Christmas-week premium bundle (55¢ value for only 29¢ when purchased with 3 lbs of Crystalvac Coffee) with the slogan “We roast it, others praise it.” This is one of the first known dated appearances of the 3-lb. Crystalvac glass-jar SKU, less than a month after the 29 November 1932 Official Gazette trademark registration for the Crystalvac name.

The premium bundle pulls in three sister-brand SKUs — H and H Black Pepper, H and H Vanilla Extract, and H and H Tea — alongside two imported cups and saucers, a recurring Hoffmann-Hayman cross-promotion device. The single-ad cross-sell of coffee, tea, spice, extract, and packed glassware documents the maturity of the 1932 H&H product line right at the moment the new West Houston Street plant was opening (cf. 1932-12-21-tiny-roaster-in-new-h-h-plant-scores-great-hit).
