The San Antonio Light of 26 August 1923 (page 60) carries a bordered display that extends the H and H quality story to lemon extract, pure soluble cocoa, and small tins of black and white pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg—parallel shelf space to the coffee and tea the firm already pushed in the same grocers’ pages.

Spices, Extracts and Cocoa Of H and H Quality

The usual H and H standard of quality which has brought so much praise for H and H Coffee and Tea, is maintained in our Spices, Extracts and Cocoas. Grocers stock, and housewives demand them, because people everywhere are “praising them, too.” They are not just good products, but better ones. The quality that has so long distinguished H and H products makes them stand forth as the best.

Extracts — H and H Extracts are excellent for giving a delicious flavor to cakes, custards, pudding or ice cream. Housewives use them because of the really good taste that they give to desserts.
