Hoffmann-Hayman welcome: North Medina address, Manufacturers’ Club exhibit, green and roasted line

This 13 June 1916 San Antonio Express trade-facing ad welcomes “Retail Merchants of Texas” visiting for what appears to be a convention-week program. Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Co. gives its street address as No. 307 North Medina St. and invites orders at its Manufacturers’ Club Exhibit booth, touting the largest stock of coffee in San Antonio and willingness to show green and roasted lines on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. A CROCKETT 6446 telephone line closes the box—typical of how the roaster met out-of-town buyers when San Antonio hosted trade visitors.
