Morrison Coffee purchase — announcement (Hoffmann-Hayman), 28 Jan 1917

This 28 January 1917 San Antonio Express block is the first panel of Hoffmann-Hayman’s Morrison Coffee Company acquisition story: a formal Announcement that the firm has bought the roasting plant, stock, brands, blends, and good-will, with 1 February handover and roughly thirty days at the old Morrison stand before consolidation at the fireproof 307 N. Medina Street plant. The copy lists surviving Morrison labels—Wesco, Misa, Broncho, Texco, Juanita—and retains John Green and Johnnie Morrison as roasters, with Paul Rochs and M. R. Perron covering the old sales Corpus–Brownsville and I. & G. N.–Laredo territories. A companion file in the gallery carries the customer-facing addendum and the Morrison sign-off.
