Jav-O (sometimes written Jav-o) is one of the Hoffmann-Hayman coffee trademarks named on the Welcome roster alongside H and H Blend, Master Chef, Texas Girl, and the rest of the house lines. The Brands page dates public documentation here to 1954, tied to a Corpus Christi Caller-Times clipping in the site archive.

So far this museum has newspaper evidence for Jav-O—not a retail tin, bottle, or bag with the Jav-O trade dress. That matches the Wanted “Known products” list, which still asks for Jav-O Coffee packaging to photograph.

Site documentation (no retail package yet)

Products

Retail sizes, grind calls, and package types for Jav-O are not yet reconstructed from labeled artifacts on this site. Typical mid-century Hoffmann-Hayman retail ran to bags, tins, and pails on other brands; any Jav-O carton, can, or bottle would be a priority acquisition.

Packaging

No Jav-O–branded retail package has been catalogued in photographs yet. When one surfaces, add it under assets/images/gallery/ and mirror the layout used on H and H Blend Coffee or Broncho Coffee.

Not the same trademark: “Javo” bottle

Collectors sometimes confuse Jav-O (H and H line, hyphen before the O) with the unrelated embossed script Javo on an aqua glass “bottled coffee” bottle in the collection. That bottle is filed as not Hoffmann-Hayman and is written up separately: Javo bottled coffee (also listed under Not our H and H). It is comparison context only, not Jav-O packaging.

Reference photography

There is no separate Jav-O reference object in Reference yet; this line is documented from press until labeled packaging surfaces (see Our Collection vs. reference notes on other brands).
