San Antonio Express-News, 3 March 1955, page 32 — clipped help-wanted classified fragment from H and H Coffee Co. The Newspapers.com extract only captured the trailing portion of the ad: "Apply at office. H. and H. COFFEE CO. 601 DELAWARE ST. BETWEEN 11 A.M. AND 2 P.M. ★ Excellent ★ Opportunity for energetic young …" — the role description is cropped off the bottom.

A partial H&H help-wanted classified preserved from page 32 of the San Antonio Express-News on Thursday, 3 March 1955. The Newspapers.com clip only captured the bottom of one ad (the apply-by-block) plus the top of a second adjacent ad (the “Excellent / Opportunity for energetic young” headline) — the body text describing the role itself was cut off below the visible area. Even so, two facts can be confirmed: the H and H Coffee Co. corporate identity is still in active use at 601 Delaware St. in early 1955 (twelve years after the 1943 route-salesman ad, eight years after the postwar fires, seven years before the Continental acquisition), and the office takes applications in person between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., narrower than the 1943 ad’s 2–5 p.m. window. The headline format — “★ Excellent ★ Opportunity for energetic young…” — was a stock Help Wanted display style of the mid-1950s and would typically continue “energetic young man” or “energetic young person” with route, sales, or warehouse duties; we can’t say which from the visible text alone.
