The San Antonio Light of 3 June 1932 (page 28) introduces H and H Crystalvac: a reusable glass jar of vacuum-packed H and H Blend that is meant to keep coffee palatable after the seal is broken, with copy pledging the usual half-, one-, and three-pound hermetic tins as well.
