Thank You display — 1904 vs 1937 plant, Hoffmann–Hayman; San Antonio Light, 21 Nov 1937, page 98

The Light of 21 November 1937 (page 98) runs a full arched trade piece: 1904 at the crown with the hand-roaster inset and shed-and-dray scene, a centered THANK YOU block to households and grocers, and 1937 below as an isometric works with a Hoffmann–Hayman street front, H–H-lettered pack-shaped roof build-up, truck rank, and a drive and fountain in the forecourt—company packaging writ large on the skyline. The layout continues the 1934 30 years of progress campaign art (illustration post) and sits in the same story arc as the October 1934 anniversary feature, here counting thirty-three years since the first H and H sale in November copy.

During that time the Hoffmann-Hayman Coffee Company has grown from its humble beginning to be one of the leaders in the industry in the Southwest. You, who use our products and the progressive merchants who sell them, have played a most important part in our success. We want to express our appreciation of your patronage and co-operation . . . and to say “Thank You.”
