Milwaukee Drinks art-deco soda bottle (Three Rivers Glass)

Clear glass soda bottle with a metal crown cap still in place. The shoulder carries diagonal spiral flutes; the cylindrical body is covered in a raised diamond grid, with large script panels reading The Famous / Milwaukee / Drinks (the brand name, not Wisconsin provenance). The heel carries a wrap of small embossed lettering, including CONTENTS 6 FL. OZ. and REGISTERED with other period mold marks at the base edge. The glass reads slightly straw in the lower wall, with reflections and light wear on the surface.

This is Milwaukee Drinks regional soda packaging, not Hoffmann-Hayman branding, but it sits in the same Three Rivers Glass collecting lane as the other bottles from Glass Bottles from Three Rivers. We acquired it in June 2014 from jays-emporium on eBay as part of that six-bottle purchase; bottler and distributor context beyond the listing still needs research.
