Bold “Good morning” stack, 35¢ / $1.00 can prices, 309 N. Medina Street footer

This 2 November 1917 San Antonio Express ad yokes H. & H. Blend to the cantonment city: “GOOD MORNING! ARMY FOLKS AND CIVILIANS!” The body stresses unrestricted supply, perfection of quality, and 1 lb. / 3 lb. can prices of 35¢ and $1.00, with “Never sold in bulk.” The street line reads 309 N. MEDINA—a one-block difference from the 307 that appears in several wholesale cards; both reflect period typesetting and renumbering, not a second plant.
