30 WARRANTY DEEDS FILED FOUR NEW HOMES AUTHORIZED IN 14 PERMITS.

Real estate was more active than usual again yesterday, with 30 transfers going into the records on property valued at $94,637. H. C. Thorman, the home builder, who is planning the erection of a large number of new homes in Highland Park, was the largest purchaser. He purchased nearly all the lots located in blocks 9, 19, 29 and 53 in Highland Park of L. P. Peck in two transactions for a consideration of $50,000.

M. L. Oppenheimer sold property out of the Paschal-Lewis addition fronting on Quincy Street to Adele Mayer for $11,300. W. E. Hayman sold property to J. D. Richie in Highland Park addition for $7,500.

A permit for a $6,000 dwelling issued to Paul H. Scholz, to be constructed on Hollywood Avenue, between Howard and McCullough Streets, featured building activities. Fourteen permits were issued for new building costing $16,385. Four new dwellings were included in the list of permits.
