Huntley Manufacturing Co. Monitor Coffee Machinery Catalog No. 66 — Brocton Era Roasters and Coolers

Catalog No. 66 from the Huntley Manufacturing Company arrived from Illinois seller alices*ads — the primary coffee-machinery catalog for the Brocton-era Monitor product line. The soft white cover carries the Monitor registered trademark in cursive script, the Huntley shield-and-wreath medallion, and the imprint “HUNTLEY MANUFACTURING CO. / BROCTON, N.Y., U.S.A.” with a secondary notation for the Canadian factory at Tillsonburg, Ontario. The “Brocton” address marks this as a later production catalog than the Silver Creek editions — Huntley relocated after Silver Creek and continued issuing the numbered Monitor catalog series from the new plant.

The Monitor brand is documented in the H and H research record from the 1923 San Antonio Light factory spread, which names Monitor-brand machinery with automatic roasting capability at the 331 Burnett Street plant. Catalog No. 66 is the Huntley company’s own specification document for the same equipment class — roasters and coolers — that H and H operated across its production history from the Burnett Street era through the 601 Delaware Street plant that opened in 1932. The collection now holds a growing set of Monitor catalogs documenting the full machinery line: roasting (Cat. No. 66 and the supplementary Cat. No. 64 series), grinding and blending, and peanut-processing catalogs that share the Monitor equipment family.
